Millionday News 6/27/14 Part 2
Welcome To Friday Night News Time With Millionday!
[DinarGroupie] Millionday, I know you are an ink girl, but so much happening on July 1st, it has to be for a reason! Right?
[millionday] i think they want to be very busy -- smile
[Pablo] So, if they are naming the people, are they voting on them on Tues too, or is that some other date?
[millionday] they have reported that they will vote in one vote as in a basket on july 1st -- that remains obviously to be seen but that was the statement
[Pablo] So, M could be out by Tues? Good, no more nuts in the nuthouse.
[millionday] with Iraq we have no promises as to when they will finish but they have been sticking to many things
[DinarGroupie] Different variety of nuts, more likely! lol
[millionday] it depends on who they name smile brb with more
[carpet] Some are saying they can’t rv next week cause there not IMF complaint and there are still laws to pass your opinion
[millionday] i have not seen anything in ink stating a date of not or yes so that would seem to be an opinion smile brb with more
golfmanone] Do we know what is lacking to be IMF compliant and which laws are still needed to pass?
[golfmanone] Or do you feel they are ready now?
[Pablo] The cbi seems to feel like they are ready.
[millionday] i do not know of any that need to be passed with customs in place and also the statements of the independent CBI -- i would like to know the compliance issues they are discussing so i could check it
[Baxter1243] millionday ... the 2% spread
[Smokey Mtn. Dinar] I read either here in chat or on another board that once the CBI says it's ready to RV, that they have to then get approval from the IMF! And maybe the WTO also. But I know for sure the IMF.
[DinarGroupie] MD I think it's the 2% thing and some banking laws.
[millionday] the thing is that the monetary policy is the goal of CBI and they are independent and have a job to do they have reportedly taken very seriously
[millionday] the monetary policy is already done as far as what reports i have seen
JerryGarciaGirl] It is my understanding that the New Rate / Market Rate is Required BEFORE they are WTO Article VIII compliant... is my understanding of this correct?
[millionday] the 2% spread is talking about two things -- the difference in the dinar pricing and the dollar to make the dinar more attractive and the way the rate will be held in the market -- it has been brought up in two ways in different reports about different subjects of planning
[millionday] in order to trade in the world -- they need the actual or reality price of the dinar to be set for fair trade
[DinarGroupie] The researcher in question claims to have strong contacts in the IMF which is why he claims with authority that the CBI can't do it yet.
The IMF allegedly historically only gives their approval when certain criteria are met, and even though the CBI is independent, they supposedly won't go against the imf's wishes, or so I have heard.
millionday] here we go with what the religious leader is stating
[millionday] certified reference Dinaa Supreme in Karbala, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai yesterday a number of points, said it was capable of overcoming the obstacles the country, taking the process of agreeing on the formation of the three presidencies during the next few days,
and thwart the schemes embedded to split Iraq, on top of those points that stressed the importance of paying attention to them in order to stabilize the country.
was the presidency, has called for across a statement, the House of Representatives to the meeting next Tuesday with the aim of forming a government, especially with the heightened security crises faced by the country,
[millionday] which require according observers coming together of all political efforts and security to defeat the schemes enemies. pointed Karbalai, during Friday prayers in front of thousands of worshipers from inside the threshold Husseiniya cleared,
the need to work to thwart the efforts of malicious facing the country and its people, and warned of the charts embedded to the disintegration of Iraq and dismantle and divide.
confirmed ÇáßŃČáÇĆí that Everyone became hears calls head of the Israeli entity and support for the division of the country, pointing out that the current crisis and that was great, but the perception of the people greater, especially that he exceeded many of the crises, stressing the need to not think some division as a solution to the current crisis, because
[millionday] note -- remember how many receive info -- it is at prayer due to the long distance from baghdad or media ect
[millionday] the solution that saves everyone is to "abide by the constitution and agreed upon if there is goodwill." and the certified reference, that is subjected to Iraq are not being due to a terrorist organization entered the border and expanded and extended,
but the blueprint which is being implemented now is the dismantling of Iraq, which invites us all to caution and awareness to miss an opportunity planners.
millionday] note -- the allowance of terrorism to stop anything gives them power and it can not be allowed is the point made here -- the taking control and moving forward without allowing effect is the way to go -- if you feed it -- it will grow -- the best is to squash it
[millionday] pointed Karbalai, that second point that should be applied in the rapid flash is agreement on the designation of the three presidencies during the remaining days ahead, and take care of timings constitutional, saying that it serves as "the entrance for a political solution."
[millionday] great point he is making here =-- dont allow an effect
[DinarGroupie] They talk about speed, but why wait until next Tuesday with everything at risk?
millionday] that is the next parliament meeting of the new parliament -- i have seen that they may meet earlier and it would not be a surprise due to security
[millionday] here we go with why so many thought maliki was gone
[millionday] . News revealed a source familiar with the National Alliance, on Thursday, Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki agreed to Alnthi of power Thursday night and reversed his decision this morning.
The source, who preferred not to be named for / Baghdadi News / "Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki agreed to the proposal of the leaders of the National Alliance to step down from power in exchange for handing responsibility to someone else from a coalition of state law."
He noted that "al-Maliki reversed his decision Thursday morning after he explained that he would get 50 votes from Sunni component to form a government anticipated
[millionday] so he was going to step down and now he is letting it roll at the dices -- interesting
[Pablo] Why would the Sunnis vote for him, or is that bluster?
[millionday] he has been a leader for a while and has followers --
DinarGroupie] I don't worry so much that his ploys will work, but I am concerned about what he will do to hurt that country and it's people until he is removed
[DinarGroupie] I doubt there are fifty Sunni MPs willing to back him up, though!
[millionday] i can understand the way that many have blamed him for so much -- he lost his whole family almost from Saddam and many feel for him in that way -- there were many brothers and he is the only one left
millionday] Saddam killed 7 i believe and other family members as well --- so he has some that are very caring about his families loss and also have many in gov that they can blame as well ---
[DinarGroupie] Millionday true, but he turned into the same kind of monster that hurt him. Seems he should have understood how it feels to be on the receiving end!
millionday] just throwing some info out there -- people that live in one place for ever have supporters -- no matter the country
[fishheads] True Leaders get the glory and the blame for success or failure
[puttright] Toughest part of a power sharing gov. when nobody trusts anybody
[millionday] i can understand what you are saying but as we know all leaders no matter good or bad have supporters
[millionday] let me make sure i have not missed anything brb
DinarGroupie] MD I agree, but he is also known to inflate numbers to try to intimidate and discourage others. I doubt he has fifty more Sunnis
[DinarGroupie] It would mean the coalition s crumbling at the finish line.
[millionday] here we go
[millionday] Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki yesterday with security leaders in the Baghdad Operations Command, the security situation in the capital and the challenges facing the country, stressing that "Baghdad must be secure and not exposed to any shock at this stage,
" noting in time the same that our security forces the heroine exceeded "shock to progress and hit the enemies. The prime minister "does not accept the existence of drop-outs in the ranks of the Iraqi army,"
he said, adding also that "those who seek not to hold the first session have failed," adding that "we have a new army to respond to the setback"
[millionday] He said in a speech during a meeting with security chiefs that "we emphasize the need for presence of all security leaders in their positions in the forefront of security and military.
In a related context eighth Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, the British role in support of Iraq in its war on terrorism during a meeting with British Foreign Secretary William Hague yesterday , as he announced in a televised interview with the BBC Arabic "that Iraq had bought warplanes Used from Russia and other countries for use during the week in the fight against the guerrillas" Daash.
millionday] note -- wow they seem to be learning how to use their army and also have bought weapons from Russia as we expected smile >>>
[millionday] Reiterated Prime Minister refusing to form a government of national salvation, saying it violates the Constitution. He said he has the political majority and will form the government, according to his manifesto and did not agree to this program can stay in Parliament as an opponent.
millionday] so we shall see what he wants and what happens and how they compare
[puttright] Feel bad for the innocent citizens of Iraq. They have been getting crushed for too long! 3 decades of dictatorship...
[millionday] remember that the agreement was to have it formed by the constitution date of july 1st
[DinarGroupie] Sounds like he is digging in his heels
millionday] i agree -- and they are rich and are living as though they are not -- huge problem
[millionday] here we go -- Iraqi forces fought for a strategically located university campus outside Tikrit on Friday and bombarded the city in an effort to retake it from Sunni insurgents.
The military operation came after Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki conceded that political measures will also be needed to defeat the jihadi-led offensive that has killed nearly 1,100 people overrun major parts of five provinces
[millionday] In further fallout from the crisis, the President of Iraq's autonomous Kurdish region declared there was no going back on Kurdish self-rule in disputed territory,
including ethnically divided northern oil city Kirkuk, now defended against the militants by Kurdish fighters.Iraqi forces swooped into Tikrit University by helicopter, and a police major said that there were periodic clashes between insurgents and security forces on the campus on Friday.
[millionday] note -- they are actually stepping up and taking charge -- huge news
[millionday] A senior Army officer said that Iraqi forces were carrying out a major wave of airstrikes against militants in Tikrit to protect the forces at the university and prepare for an assault on the city.Iraqi troops are deployed in areas around the city for the assault, the officer said.
Meanwhile, at petrol stations across the three provinces of the northern region, but particularly in and around the city of Dohuk and the Kurdish regional capital Arbil, lines extend for hours,
sometimes even days. “I’ve been here for two hours, and I'm hoping I’ll be able to fill up in about another half hour,” said 34-year-old engineer Raad, who was queueing in Arbil. He is even lucky to have found a station with gasoline in the city. Many have shut down after running out,
[millionday] , blocking entrances and exits with plastic chairs to keep out hopeful customers. Meanhwile, photograph and satellite imagery indicate that ISIS insurgents have carried out mass executions in the northern Iraqi city of Tikrit, Human Rights Watch reported on Friday.
New York-based Human Rights Watch said that between 160 and 190 men were killed in at least two locations in and around Tikrit the hometown of late Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein between June 11 and 14.It said that the death toll could be much higher but the difficulty of locating bodies and getting to the area had prevented a full investigation
[millionday] so as we see here -- hurray -- Iraqi forces are doing well and are attacking -- love it -- much better than running not trying to be mean but they had lack of confidence i should say
[jarhead] US backed now
[millionday] that too -- US bombed today and so did syria across border
[millionday] now think about why would more funds be being put into this country? smile
[millionday] so as we see -- they are getting ready for tuesday and also are securing their country with help and the ports are ready and waiting and they seem to be preparing to move forward in the country
millionday] CBI claims to be able to secure all banks and the eye in the sky is watching the terrorism and are calling it war crimes -- which we all know that is never good beside your name
millionday] i am so sure they are ready to move forward and so prepared that terrorists felt they had to attack -- think about that -- they have to be in a position of change or why attack ?
[DinarGroupie] Millionday I joined part way through was there any more news regarding ISX on Tuesday?
