[TurtleIsland] How to Turn 100 Trillion Dollars Into Five and Feel Good About It The Highest-Denominated Bill Ever Issued Gives Value to Worthless Zimbabwe Currency
By Patrick McGroarty and Farai Mutsaka

A 100-trillion-dollar bill, it turns out, is worth about $5.
That's the going rate for Zimbabwe's highest denomination note, the biggest ever produced for legal tender—and a national symbol of monetary policy run amok. At one point in 2009, a hundred-trillion-dollar bill couldn't buy a bus ticket in the capital of Harare.
But since then the value of the Zimbabwe dollar has soared. Not in Zimbabwe, where the currency has been abandoned, but on eBay.http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052748703730804576314953091790360

I know we hear stories like this every now and then, but I felt this one was worth sharing, I hope it blesses you as much as it did me.
I read a story the other day about a man who had spent his entire life mining for treasure. He was so certain that there was treasure in this one particular place that he spent day after day, year after year mining. It was his life's work.
For over 20 years he spent his entire days mining for this treasure that he was absolutely certain existed. Then, after many years, he began to become discouraged because he dug and dug and found nothing. After a while he gave up, he stopped searching for the treasure and went about his life.
Years went by, then another man grabbed hold of the same vision and was certain that there was a treasure in this particular place and he began to dig.
From the very beginning of his dig, progress went quickly, after only 75 feet he struck something. To his amazement he found a tremendous treasure and it took him only one day.
What he found was the same treasure the other man had spent 20 years digging for but finally gave up on.
I believe we often do this as Christians; we start out good and strong in our pursuit of all God has for us. After a while we become tired and weary, we keep digging for a while then we become discouraged just as the miner did and we stop. Sometimes we stop just feet from our destination.
The Bible tells us to hold our confidence steadfast to the end. That means we carry the same zeal we had in the beginning to the very end.
Abraham hoped against hope; that means when there was no reason to hope any longer...he hoped anyway. The miner in this story could have chosen to do the same thing; he could have continued to hope and have faith when it looked like there was no reason to have faith.
My question to you is which are you today? Are you the miner who had a vision and zeal and began to walk toward his destiny only to quit a few feet short of his treasure? Or are you like Abraham, who continues to hope when there is absolutely no reason to hope?
Faith believes when everything looks the opposite. Abraham couldn't have children, it was physically impossible. However being physically impossible didn't hinder his faith, it didn't move him at all. And it certainly didn't move God. This is the very foundation of our faith; believing when it appears impossible.
I have seen many people in my life with God who have started out believing God to see miracles, signs and wonders. To see the mighty things God promises in his word. I have seen many of these same people lay down that promise and go about life without the hope they once had. I can understand this feeling, it is hard to keep hoping when you are not seeing what you desire - hard...but not impossible...all things are possible with God and all things are possible to him who believes.
What appears impossible in your life today? I encourage you to hope against hope...don't give up. Certainly don't give up just feet or days from your breakthrough; continue to hope - continue to stand - continue to believe and enter into the promises of God. It is OUR time, if I know anything...I know that...it is OUR time to shine.
Be Continually Blessed,
