Midweek Update, Ben Fulford Update Jan 21 2015:
Topic: For myself, I am an optimist—it does not seem to be much use being anything else. –Sir Winston Churchill
cleitus : Frank, what is your take on the situation in Yemen? Will this effect the M/R in any way?
Aggiedad77: Hi cleitus, I'm not Frank but thought I would offer up my two IQD's thought
What happened and is happening in Yemen.....is their issue.....at this point....subject to change of course.....I don't see it being an issue for Iraq.....Iraq has it's own set of issues to deal with....and I happen to think they are handling things very well....
Maybe not as fast as we would like to see....but then...maybe in a way that we "can't" see....that they don't want us to see....yet.....
I'm remaining excited that they stand "poised".....they just need to locate the "EASY" button....and I'm encouraged they are close to finding it. Aloha Randy

King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia dies
State TV says Crown Prince Salman has succeeded King Abdullah, who died at the age of 90.
22 Jan 2015 23:21 GMT
Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah has died, Saudi state television has said.
Saudi television cut to Koranic verses early on Friday, which often signifies death of a senior royal, Reuters news agency reported.
King Abdullah, who was 90, had been in hospital for several weeks and was suffering from pneumonia.
Al Jazeera's Hashem Ahelbarra said: "This is someone who is definitely going to be remembered as a reformist within the royal family.
"He succeeded his brother at a very delicate time and started reforms in the country."
Saudi TV also announced Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is now officially the new Saudi king and Prince Muqrin Bin Abdulaziz is the new crown prince.

DAVOS WATCH: Merkel upstaged, more protests, currency wars
Associated Press By The Associated Press 2 hours ago
DAVOS, Switzerland (AP) — The World Economic Forum held in the Swiss ski resort of Davos has the official goal of "improving the state of the world." In practice, it's a massive networking event that brings together 2,500 heads of state, business leaders, philanthropists and artists.
Here are some glimpses of what's happening and being discussed Thursday at Davos:
It's not often that German Chancellor Angela Merkel gets upstaged — but upstaged she was as she arrived to speak before the World Economic Forum
As Merkel returned to Swiss ski resort following her absence last year due to a fractured pelvis, all eyes were on Frankfurt as Mario Draghi, president of the European Central Bank, delivered the news that the ECB was ready to buy government bonds on a massive scale to oil the wheels of the eurozone's ailing economy.
Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte, …
During Merkel's speech, many in the audience were scrolling social media to get the details about Draghi.
Merkel said little to take the spotlight away from Draghi but declared whatever the ECB did, it wouldn't be enough. EU governments have to continue to reform their economies to get more competitive, she said. Some have been forced to do so in return for bailout money, such as Portugal and Ireland. Others, such as Italy and France, are now doing so too, she said.
On non-economic matters, Merkel said the terror attacks in Paris had "woken us up thoroughly." She also said there was no military solution to the conflict in Ukraine and that any solution rested on the Ukraine's territorial integrity being "restored," first in eastern Ukraine around Donetsk. Crimea, which Russia has annexed, is "not forgotten," she added.
