With the new package, the World Bank engagement in Iraq rises to nearly $3.4 billion, including support for reconstruction of areas recently recovered by government forces and a transport corridor investment
Don961: The Iraqi citizens ... especially the younger people who now comprise 65% of the population ... are realizing it's the politicians , like Maliki , who are responsible for the sectarian ideas and trouble and conflicts among the tribes and groups in the country .... that the ordinary people get along fine and want to see a prosperous and united Iraq ... the majority are tired of war and tired of politicians who vacuum up all of Iraq's vast wealth .... and nothing ever improves ..... like Frank says ... the citizens are watching and listening ...
