ShawnW: Zooming out from the Shabibi Scenarios For me this week boils down to two scenarios.... sure we have seemingly endless scenarios of Shabibi is now a bad guy, Maliki is still the bad guy, on and on and on... All of these scenarios at this point are just speculation. Well all but one most likely. But there are enough of them out there that none of us could tell for sure which one is the truth... almost like planned confusion. lol
So I decided to go a level higher than the current scenario we are in, and it cleared my head a bit... hopefully can do the same for you..
Scenario 1: This is part of the plan- Whatever scenario is the correct one, if this is part of the plan then we should be excited as never before. Iraq has been on a continual merry go round for almost 3 years. In the coming days we will do this. In the coming period we will vote that... on and on and nothing gets accomplished. We have just seen a SHOCK to this process and it was completed quickly and decisively. There was no in the coming days. We have just been taken off the merry go round and action has been taken... hold on....because here we go.
Scenario 2: This is not part of the plan- If this is a wrench that has been thrown into this plan, by maliki or anyone else for that matter.

This is a big wrench, one that cannot be swept under the rug or just brushed off. If this is someone trying to alter the plan that is in place to get their own way... then rest assured those in charge of this plan have no option but to make the corrections necessary to save the plan. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. This last week took Iraq from the talk side of things (in the coming days) to the action side of things.
Whether part of the plan or not we are now in the action phase of this plan and that is where we want to be. We do not have to understand, or approve of the process only be able to hold on until the end... and with this weeks news we are moving in the right direction either way IMO... there just may be a speed bump that needs to be addressed with one scenario.... but I am so glad to see real action coming out of the sandbox.
