Watering the SEEDS - What seeds are YOU planting today ??
I recall thinking when I was young... I wonder why OLDER people are so smart... now I laugh and realize that LIFES LESSONS teach us along the way... We grow smarter...IF we apply those lessons
Today I'd like to share some thoughts with you - may you be encouraged - Your Friend, Country ~
When talking about seeds and sowing and reaping, there are many similarities of the heart and the soil of a garden. The importance of what seeds you plant within your heart, as those ARE the things that will grow. Let's talk a little bit more about that.... going back to the garden analogy...

When you plant seeds in the ground how do you go about doing that? Well first you must till the ground, you prepare it, sometimes this means you have to get a shovel to break up all the hardness, some really stubborn hard soil may require a rototiller...
How is the condition of your heart? Is it ready to receive NEW seed? Or is there hard, bitter, old junk there that needs to be tilled first? It is vitally important to tend to this aspect in order to reap the best harvest that you can!
Sure you can toss seed out on the ground hoping that some seeds may take root and grow, but surely, some the storm winds will catch them and they will blow away. Prepare the soil.
Take the time to realize that you are ABLE to effect the outcome of your hearts attitudes, thereby affecting the world around you.
So now that the soil has been tilled... you realize that you have a garden area, you have decided to plant some seeds there, you have prepared it... you gently take the seeds and place them in the soil... you walk away hoping something grows right? Nope. You gently tamp (apply pressure) the soil to keep it within the ground and then you water it ... daily !
So it is with your heart and the things you want to grow within it... if it is important to you, you MUST take the time to tamp the soil around the new seed, protecting it, and then water it... DAILY.
How do you water a seed that is planted in your heart?
You continue to read, listen, and speak encouraging words to it, outloud when possible. You speak forth the desired result.
So you have tilled the soil, planted the seed, tamped the ground, and watered the seed.
Do you go out and dig up the seed to make sure its growing? No, you continue to water the seed, trusting that you are doing what you need to do in order to help the process, and it is a process... first the blade, then the ear, then the full corn in the ear.
Soon your diligence will pay off, you will SEE evidence as a sprout of the plant begin to peek through the soil, don't stop the process, continue to water, as the fruit of the seed is not yet seen, it is just the plant of the seed. The more you water, the BIGGER and better the harvest is.
Soon you will be planting other seeds in the soil and reaping a harvest of many things in your personal life such as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, temperance.
In regard to your business life you will reap a harvest of wisdom, knowledge, good deals, good relationships, and favor.
Think for a few minutes what kind of garden you are growing and remember...
