Hi DELTA..... Hoping that you are doing well and that you and your family are safe. I have seen some news that some of the fighting/bombings have found their way into Baghdad, I pray they are not near your location.
Is there any new word on the Parliament possibly taking a vote on the budget today (Thursday)? From what we have seen it did not come from the COM with a fix for the differences between Baghdad and the Kurds....I hope that Parliament can come up with a remedy. If memory serves me right this is the same thing that happened in 2013.
I know you are wondering what is going on at the CBI like we are as well.....it seems very odd, maybe coincidental that the site seemed to go down at or near midnight your time. Praying for you brother and thanks for all that you do.
Delta: THANK YOU BROTHER, EVERYTHING IS FINE!!
CBI IS PLAYING A CAREFUL GAME, THEY KNOW THAT EVERY ONE IS WATCHING, THEY ARE WORKING BEHIND CLOSE DOOR AS WE SPEAK. GET READY TO GET SURPRISE AS TURKI SAID A WHILE BACK.
IMO THE BUDGET WILL TAKE SOME TIME TO PASS THE PARLIAMENT AS USUAL, BUT THAT WILL NOT EFFECT THE RV. : DELTA

While there seems to be a lull in the action of today....let's take some time to review:
The CBI made a "change" to its website overnight, adding a link called "Home Exchange Rate" this is very visible on the home screen of the website as it is in bright red....guess they didn't get the message that only Frank can post in red. This link appears to be an archive of past indicative rates starting back in 2011 and ending as of yesterday 01-14-2014, in a pdf format, a poor copy I might add, not very professionally done...almost as though they were in a big hurry.
The Iraqi Cabinet approved the draft 2014 budget and sent it to Parliament, apparently there are some issues within it that pertain to oil...go figure....and the Kurds. Well they wanted it....now they got it. Let's watch what they do....not so much what they say, we've already seen how that can get us in trouble today.
In connection with the above topic....the Cabinet also approved movement of oil from Kurdistan to Turkey but via SOMO only.
I have listened eagerly to the words of NOVA over the past several CC's and I cannot help but feel an excitement.....something that leads me to believe the CBI is....IMO....making changes to their website.....changes that we can't see yet....that will help them become internationally compliant...
in other words....like the Central Banks of the rest of the world....where they "exchange" currency......not buy and sell it. IMO....this makes so much sense...after all.....they have been been playing in the minor leagues for almost 10 years now....and they have been invited up to the major league now....the spotlight is now focused on what their next move will be.
So where are we? Sitting and waiting....watching the CBI website for changes.....being strong....then becoming stronger. Keep The Faith Always Family.....take this to prayer with God.

Hello Family.....I know everyone is anxious about the whereabouts of the CBI website......they seem to be missing in action. From what we can tell, it appears they went down right around midnight Baghdad time.....is that a coincidence.....IMO....I don't think so.
I find it hard to believe that there would be enough hits from dinarland to shut the site down on bandwidth issues. I am more of the opinion that last night we got shown a piece of "the change".......the "red" Home Exchange Rate and pdf file....that....IMO....was not the work of a website professional but someone in a hurry to get a document into place.
Could they now be scampering to implement what NOVA has talked about....an internationally "compliant" website, that brings them up to the standards of other Central Banks that are not on a buy/sell scale but instead indicative of a bank that "exchanges" currency....it is a possibility....I wish I could offer more, but time will tell for us.
aggiedad77: Good Evening Family.....just a real quick recap of where we stand tonight:
I think by now everyone should be aware that the CBI website http://www.cbi.iq is down, they are saying they have bandwidth problems....but this could be for real, or perhaps as Afferchild suggested earlier perhaps they are again moving their website to a more internationally compliant location....or they are rebuilding....relaunching the existing website to be more internationally compliant itself.
We do know that big banks of the world wish to be involved with them and for them to be a big league star they must have acceptable credentials....so....even if they do come out at 1166 again.....it is my opinion....they can't stay there very long....too many things have happened in the past month to keep them there much longer.
Again we have a Wednesday afternoon that was not filled with much news. I know there has been a great deal of violence in various parts of Iraq today, that is tragic and needs to come to an end. They are seeking help world-wide to stem the terrorist problems that exist today.
I will say to all our Family, regardless of what transpires over the next few days.....we need to all stay grounded....stay in constant communication with our Heavenly Father....don't be afraid to open up to Him.....just talk openly with Him because He is always eager to listen and He is overjoyed when we find the time to pray or just have an open dialogue with Him. Let Him be your guide during this time.
I know we all want to get giddy.....what am I saying.....we are giddy.....but keep both feet on the ground. Trust our great News Hounds to bring excellent news to us, I don't know how they can sniff out what they find, but they are great. Listen to Frank, Delta, and NOVA when they speak.....they are like E.F. Hutton.....everyone listens when they speak.
Stay warm, we are in for a bad blizzard tonight and tomorrow, hopefully we don't lose power....but if I'm gone that will be the reason.

You cannot do it all, and you wouldn’t really want to. Yet you can do what’s truly important.
There’s nothing to be gained from merely being busy. There are all sorts of wonderful things to be achieved by being purposeful.
So very many demands are placed on you by the world and all its systems and all its technology. That makes it more important than ever to make your own choice as to what really matters.
Just because something is urgent doesn’t mean it makes a difference. Just because something is colorful, exciting, trendy and enticing doesn’t mean it will add value to your life.
Step back from the glittery commotion and remind yourself of who you are. Remind yourself of what you truly love, of what really matters to you.
Plenty of things that seem important at first glance will quickly turn out not to be, so let them go. All the while, hold steady to what truly matters and build a life of purpose and fulfillment.
