Live More Frugal with these Simple Tips
By Susanne Myers
There are a lot of reasons why more and more of us are embracing a more frugal lifestyle. Sure, some of it is due to the economy and we are becoming more frugal by either necessity or fear.
But for many of us it is a lifestyle choice. It’s a way to get back to the basics and spend more time on things that are truly important instead of chasing that new house, car or exotic vacation. If you’re ready to embrace living in a frugal way, I have seven tips that I’d like to share with you today.
Live without Rushing
By Guy Finley
We’ve all probably “run over” someone emotionally or hurt a friend, a loved one, or even a complete stranger while racing to get somewhere or do something “important.” Then, we regret it — most likely too late to do any good.
There may be no greater self-deception than the false notion that rushing through anything actually helps us in any way whatsoever. After all, if anxious thoughts and feelings had any power to deliver us to a place or time where peace awaits, don’t you think we’d have gotten there by now? Let there be no mistake here:
"Is That So"
It so happened that in a certain area of the country there lived one who loved the Lord. He had settled in an isolated area some distance from the nearest village. There was a small cave in a hill a mile or so outside of the village and that is where he stayed.
You may call him a recluse if you wish, but what need did he have of other people's company when his constant companion was the Lord?
But, as Ramakrishna Paramhamsa said, "When the flower is ripe, the bees come of their own accord." And so it was that the villagers started coming to visit.
You know how it is. First, probably, it was just one of the boys herding goats who happened to notice that someone was living in the cave and he told the other boys and they told their parents and so people started coming to see who was there, out of curiosity and to pay their respects.
5 Ways To Increase Your Mind Power Over Money
Manifest More by Increasing Your Mind Power Over Money
When it comes to manifesting the things you want, you like most people may have experienced what it is to have a manifesting block. No matter how hard you try you just can’t seem to manifest certain things.
If you examine the things which you have successfully manifested against the things that you struggle to manifest you will notice that money has been the wall between you and those things you struggle to manifest.
Quitting Is Easy
By Lois Cheney
Yes, quitting is easy, so simple to succumb to the depressing hopelessly negative energies that seem to surround us today and just give up. All too easy to let go, embracing defeat, when we see financial institutions failing, countries torn apart by war and devastating weather phenomenon striking over and over again.
But why should we let any of this drive us down? What we need to acknowledge and fully embrace is this fact: through all of this we continue to be individually capable of designing the success of our own lives.
The Power of Pain
By Hilda Pols
You have no time for a headache. Take «brand name» and continue your day without distraction.
This is not only a typical advert for pain medication, but is also a part of our way of life: pain is a distraction and should be suppressed and avoided. We prefer not to feel and even less to react to what our body is trying to communicate to us. We choose comfort over health.
Of course, pain medication is helpful to take the edge off of the pain and even in cases of severe pain. Yet in ignoring pain, we ignore natural means of healing which, when honed over time, can lead to better and quicker results in the healing and recovery process.

Life Is What Happens While You’re Busy Making Other Plans
By Sophie Rose
This famous saying from John Lennon reflects a paradox in our lives. Many of us would like to have a peaceful ride, enjoy the present moment, yet we can’t help but make future plans so we feel secure, or we spend time digging on past hurts.
Lennon doesn’t say we shouldn’t make plans, but that the true experience of being alive is beyond those plans, and “happens” to us.
At first view, this seems to negate any personal will, since the right answer to life would be to embrace it instead of trying to direct it, but it might just be that free will should be redirected from the content of our lives to its approach:
