A security source said on Thursday that most state banks were evacuated due to Friday’s demonstrations.
The source told “Tomorrow Press”, “has been evacuated the majority of government banks in Baghdad and a number of provinces in anticipation of any emergency that may occur during the demonstrations tomorrow, Friday, 25 October.”
He added that “the distribution of government salaries of employees before the demonstrations is part of the evacuation of banks from their assets.”
The source reported yesterday the evacuation of several circles of important files and computers.

Resignation of large numbers of leaders and members of the Islamic Party throughout Iraq
BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Large numbers of leaders and members of the Islamic Party throughout Iraq have resigned, a political source said on Thursday.
The source said in an interview with Alsumaria News, that "a large number of leaders and members of the Iraqi Islamic Party in all provinces of Iraq submitted their resignations."
He added that "the most prominent resigned Baha Naqshbandi Deputy Secretary-General, Naseer al-Ani member of the Political Bureau and President of the Office of the President, Suhaib al-Rawi, a member of the Political Bureau and the governor of Anbar."
The source said, "The other resigners are Ammar Wajih Zain al-Abadin, Chairman of the Shura Council, Sabah al-Kubaisi, the organization's office, and Mohammed Mubarak Ahmed al-Janabi, the official organizations south of Baghdad."
He pointed out that "resigning members of the House of Representatives are Faisal al-Issawi and Aisha al-Massari and Nahla al-Rawi." link
Tishwash: The US Embassy in Baghdad announces the maximum alert
Baghdad, Oct. 24 (Petra) - The US Embassy in Iraq announced that it has entered the maximum alert within the embassy because of the demonstrations planned for Friday.
Sources at the embassy said that some non-essential embassy staff were deported out of Iraq, in anticipation of any emergency during the expected demonstrations.
The coordinating committees responsible for the demonstrations that will start tomorrow announced their intention to enter the Green Zone, where the headquarters of the government and parliament, as well as the headquarters of embassies. link

There is a state of anxiety, caution and preparedness in the streets of the capital and the rest of the central and southern governorates, in anticipation of blocking the streets and imposing a curfew that we accept security forces.
The government banks, the evacuation of their coffers of funds and postponed salaries for fear of riots and others in the demonstrations.
It is hoped that the demonstrations on Friday, will see the broad participation of the Iraqi people to demand the terms and change the government. link

Security authorities in Diyala province imposed a curfew in three cities following the assassination of local officials.
A security official told Shafaq News that authorities had imposed a curfew in al-Wajih, Muqdadiya and Abu Saida, for fear of events following the assassination.
On Thursday, unidentified gunmen assassinated the head of Abu Saida’s local council, Saad Sereiwi and his son, before gunmen assassinated the district’s director, Abu Saida, Harith al-Rubaie.

Frank26 ...IMO all the banks in Iraq received a schedule but not all received the lower denoms because the protesting on the 25th will determine if the rest are delivered or not...the 25th IMO can cancel the schedule but I don't think so...
